· Statement 1 is correct: Unlike Harappa and Mohenjo-daro,Dholavira was constructed to a pre-existing geometrical plan consisting of three divisions – the citadel, the middle town, and the lower town. The acropolis and the middle town had been furnished with their own defence-work, gateways, built-up areas, street system, wells, and large open spaces.
· The acropolis is the most thoroughly fortified and complex area in the city, of which it appropriates the major portion of the southwestern zone .
· Statement 2 is correct: The most interesting discovery from Daimabad is a hoard of 4 bronze objects : A sculpture of a chariot yoked by 2 oxen,driven by a man; A sculpture of a water buffalo; A sculpture of an elephant; A sculpture of a rhinoceros.
· Statement 3 is incorrect: Lothal and Kalibangan had fire altars where sacrifices may have been performed. At Kalibangan, evidence of ploughed field, wooden furrow, seven fire altars, bones of camels and two types of burials have been found.
· Statement 4 is correct: At Mohenjo Daro the great bath, great granary, bronze dancing girl, bearded man, terracotta toys, Bull seal Pashupati seal, Mesopotamian type of seal and a piece of woven cloth have been found.
